A few words about me…
I often tell the folks that I am working with that I am a “fellow traveler”.
By this, I mean that if there was ever a signature phrase to describe my life path it’s captured by that famous song title “A long and winding road”.
As a sorta-youngster, I jumped around between universities because I couldn’t declare a major. By then, my creative side had taken over and I earned a diploma way-back-when in music therapy. While still studying classical flute, I decided to complete an undergraduate psychology degree at Simon Fraser University.
As history unfolded in a rather circuitous route (not popular with the university), I remained steadfast in getting what I needed in order to practice as the therapist I yearned to become.
A take home message from all of this academia was that coloring “outside of the lines” may be a necessary step. This way of thinking has propelled me into a decade of studies into the mind-body connection and learning lots about the ground-breaking implications of neuroscience for accelerating healing both inside and outside of therapy.
Sometimes the longest journey we take is the one coming home to ourselves. I’d be honored to join you in rediscovering who you truly are.
Today you are You, that is truer than true.
There is no one alive, who is Youer than You.
